Reduces the maximum dry weight limit for recreational off-highway vehicles (ROVs) from 3,500 pounds to 2,500 pounds in Florida Statutes section 261.03.

Reduces the maximum dry weight limit for ROVs from 3,500 pounds to 2,500 pounds in Florida Statutes section 317.0003 with identical revisions.

Maintains all other ROV specifications including 80-inch maximum width, four or more nonhighway tires, and manufactured for recreational use by one or more persons.

Excludes golf carts and low-speed vehicles from the ROV definition in both statute sections.

Becomes effective July 1, 2022.
