Creates section 15.0352 of Florida Statutes designating the Florida scrub-jay (Aphelocoma coerulescens) as the official state bird.

Florida scrub-jay is the only bird species endemic to the State of Florida, measuring 9 to 11 inches in length with blue wings, head, and tail, gray back and underparts, and whitish forehead and neck.

Species is protected by the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, federal Endangered Species Act, and Florida Endangered and Threatened Species Rule as a threatened species.

Supersedes Senate Concurrent Resolution No. 3 from the 1927 Regular Session that previously designated the mockingbird as the state bird.

Takes effect upon becoming law.
