Creates section 252.64 of Florida Statutes to protect religious institutions from emergency orders prohibiting religious services or activities.

Defines "religious institution" by reference to the definition in section 496.404 of Florida Statutes.

Prohibits emergency orders from directly or indirectly preventing religious institutions from conducting regular religious services or activities.

Allows general provisions that apply uniformly to all entities in an affected jurisdiction to be applied to religious institutions only if the provision furthers a compelling governmental interest and is the least restrictive means available.

Takes effect July 1, 2022.
