Requires driver license and identification card applications to include gender designation options for male, female, or nonbinary, replacing the previous binary designation requirement.

Amends sections 322.08 and 322.051 to add nonbinary as a gender designation option on application forms for both driver licenses and identification cards.

Updates related statutes (98.093, 320.05, 322.091, 322.14, and 322.17) to replace references to "sex" with "gender designation" throughout driver license and identification card records and processes.

Allows applicants obtaining replacement licenses or permits to provide their chosen gender designation when furnishing required identification information.

Takes effect July 1, 2022.
