Authorizes uncertified or unregistered persons to perform specialty contracting work on commercial or residential swimming pools, interactive water features, hot tubs, and spas under supervision of a certified or registered contractor.

Supervision does not require a direct contract between the supervising contractor and the worker, nor does the worker need to be an employee of the supervising contractor.

Supervising contractor must be certified or registered under the appropriate specialty contractor categories, the work must be within their scope of practice, and the supervising contractor assumes responsibility for the work.

Prohibits expansion of contractor scope to include plumbing or electrical services requiring separate certification or registration, and does not override existing exemptions in Florida statute.

Effective date is July 1, 2022.
