Creates Section 471.055, Florida Statutes, establishing the Structural Engineering Recognition Program for Professional Engineers under the Board of Professional Engineers.

Board must recognize licensed professional engineers who pass the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying Structural Engineering 16-hour PE Structural examination or other board-approved examinations.

Board may recognize professional engineers specializing in structural engineering based on alternative criteria it establishes.

Prohibits the board from collecting any fees for program applications or recognition; recognized engineers may display the recognition in professional practice and marketing materials.

Recognition through the program is voluntary and not required to practice structural engineering; effective July 1, 2022.
