Amends Florida Statute 903.21 to require sureties to pay costs and expenses incurred in returning a defendant to court jurisdiction if the defendant is found in jail or prison before bond breach occurs and the surety agrees in writing.

Limits surety liability to itemized costs and expenses for transporting only the defendant to whom the surety has a fiduciary duty, excluding costs for transporting other defendants.

Defines "costs and expenses" as the prorated salary of law enforcement officers or contracted transportation company employees, plus actual transportation expenses including mileage, vehicle expenses, meals, and overnight lodging when necessary.

Defines "jurisdiction" as the county from which the defendant was released on bail within the judicial circuit as prescribed by law.

Takes effect July 1, 2022.
