• Establishes the Compulsive and Addictive Gambling Prevention Program within the Florida Gaming Control Commission to raise awareness about and mitigate compulsive and addictive gambling behavior.

• Requires the commission to contract for services to operate the program, which must serve as an information source, maintain statewide advertising for responsible gambling, operate a confidential toll-free helpline (888-ADMIT-IT), and develop employee training programs.

• Mandates that all pari-mutuel, cardroom, casino, and other gambling venue facilities participate by training employees, displaying signage, promoting the helpline in advertisements, and offering a self-exclusion program with options for 2-year, 5-year, or lifetime exclusion periods.

• Allocates up to 0.3 percent of annual Pari-mutuel Wagering Trust Fund collections to fund the program, with the Department of the Lottery depositing 0.3 percent of gross revenue from online and instant lottery ticket sales into the fund.

• Repeals the prior compulsive gambling prevention program statute and amends related provisions to conform to the new program structure, effective July 1, 2022.
