Creates a public records exemption for personal identifying information of individuals seeking assistance through the Compulsive and Addictive Gambling Prevention Program under Florida Statute 16.7121.

Exempts such personal identifying information from disclosure requirements under Florida Statute 119.07(1) and Article I, Section 24(a) of the State Constitution.

Establishes the exemption as subject to the Open Government Sunset Review Act, with automatic repeal on October 2, 2027, unless the Legislature reenacts it.

Finds as public necessity that confidentiality protections are needed to encourage program participation because compulsive and addictive gambling remains highly stigmatized and prevents people from seeking help.

Takes effect contingent upon the enactment of HB 405 or similar legislation in the same legislative session or an extension thereof.
