Creates section 448.111 of Florida Statutes establishing evidentiary standards for business actions taken during declared emergencies.

Defines "engaged individual" as any person providing goods or services to a business and receiving compensation, regardless of employee or independent contractor classification.

Prohibits specified business actions taken during public health emergencies (declared by State Health Officer) or states of emergency (declared by Governor) from being used as evidence in civil lawsuits related to workers' compensation, employment benefits, wage disputes, or employee misclassification claims.

Shields from evidentiary use: providing financial assistance to workers unable to work due to health concerns, directly providing health and safety benefits, providing health and safety training, and taking actions required or suggested by federal, state, or local law to protect public health and safety.

Takes effect July 1, 2022.
