Appropriates $20 million annually to the Department of Environmental Protection to implement the Florida Keys Stewardship Act through financial assistance agreements with local governments in the Florida Keys and City of Key West areas of critical state concern.

Authorized funds support protection and restoration of Florida Keys, Florida Bay, and nearshore marine ecosystems including coral reefs, and land acquisition within the Florida Keys Area of critical state concern with priority given to conservation goals.

Prohibits use of appropriated funds for wastewater management projects or programs.

Amends section 375.041, Florida Statutes, regarding the Land Acquisition Trust Fund to add this new funding provision.

Takes effect July 1, 2022.
