Allows students to complete paid work as an alternative to volunteer service for Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program awards, effective for high school students graduating in 2022-2023 academic year and thereafter.

Changes service hour requirements for Florida Academic Scholars and Florida Medallion Scholars from 75-100 volunteer hours to 100 hours of paid work (for 2022-2023 graduates and after).

Changes service hour requirements for Florida Gold Seal Vocational Scholars and Florida Gold Seal CAPE Scholars from 30 volunteer hours to 100 hours of paid work (for 2022-2023 graduates and after).

Makes it optional rather than mandatory for students to identify a social or civic issue and develop a plan for their service involvement; evaluating and reflecting on the experience remains required.

Applies changes to sections 1009.534, 1009.535, and 1009.536 of Florida Statutes governing the three scholarship award types.
