Deletes subsection (12) of section 1009.26, Florida Statutes, which previously authorized state universities, Florida College System institutions, career centers, and charter technical career centers to waive out-of-state fees for students meeting specific residency requirements.

Removes provisions that allowed out-of-state fee waivers for students who attended a Florida secondary school for 3 consecutive years before graduating, applied within 24 months of high school graduation, and submitted official transcripts as proof.

Eliminates eligibility for undocumented students and removes the requirement that waived tuition and fees not exceed resident student rates, the 110 percent credit hour limitation, and annual reporting requirements to the Board of Governors and State Board of Education.

Effective date: July 1, 2022.
