Deletes provisions in Florida Statutes section 288.075(2) that allowed private corporations, partnerships, or persons to request confidentiality of information concerning their plans, intentions, or interests to locate, relocate, or expand business activities in Florida.

Removes the 12-month confidentiality period (and optional 12-month extension) for economic development agreement information that was previously available upon written request before an economic incentive agreement was signed.

Eliminates the 180-day confidentiality period that applied after a final project order for a signed economic development agreement was issued.

Removes restrictions that prohibited public officers and employees from entering into binding agreements with entities that had requested confidentiality until 90 days after information became public.

Takes effect July 1, 2022.
