Repeals s. 790.335, F.S., which prohibited registration of firearms and regulated treatment of electronic firearm records.

Repeals s. 790.336, F.S., which required destruction of firearm lists, records, or registries.

Amends s. 409.175, F.S., to remove references to repealed firearm registration statute in child-placing agency licensure requirements, replacing them with reference to s. 63.0422.

Amends s. 790.0625, F.S., to establish that tax collectors who maintain lists or records of concealed weapon or firearm license applicants commit a felony of the third degree, punishable under s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.

Takes effect July 1, 2022.
