Establishes the Care for Retired Police Dogs Program within the Department of Law Enforcement to provide funding for veterinary care of retired police dogs.

Requires the department to contract with a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has maintained tax-exempt status for at least 5 years and is dedicated to protecting retired police dogs.

Provides reimbursement up to $1,500 annually per dog for veterinary care expenses (including wellness exams, medications, surgeries, and euthanasia) for dogs that served 5 or more years or 3+ years if injured in the line of duty.

Allows the nonprofit administrator to use up to 10 percent of appropriated funds for administrative expenses and prohibits accumulation of unused funds between fiscal years.

Appropriates $300,000 in recurring General Revenue funds annually beginning in fiscal year 2022-2023 to implement the program, effective July 1, 2022.
