Renames Florida's "Criminal Punishment Code" to the "Criminal Public Safety Code" throughout statutes including sentencing guidelines, offense severity rankings, and judicial procedures.

Revises a core principle of the sentencing code (s. 921.002) to state that rehabilitation is subordinate to the goal of "public safety" rather than "punishment."

Updates all cross-references and statutory provisions across 23 Florida Statutes sections to reflect the new name while maintaining the structure and application of sentencing guidelines for felonies committed on or after October 1, 1998.

Makes a technical amendment to s. 893.20 changing "is guilty of" to "commits" regarding continuing criminal enterprise offenses.

Takes effect July 1, 2022.
