Creates section 775.0864, Florida Statutes, requiring specified violent offenses committed by unlawfully present aliens to be reclassified to the next higher felony degree.

Applies reclassification to six offense categories: sexual battery, aggravated assault with deadly weapon, murder, unlawful throwing/placing/discharging destructive device or bomb, armed burglary, and offenses against persons.

Reclassifies misdemeanor first degree offenses to felony third degree (ranked level 2 for sentencing), felony third degree to second degree, felony second degree to first degree, and felony first degree to life felony.

Requires reclassified felony offenses to be ranked one level above the standard ranking for purposes of sentencing under chapter 921 and gain-time eligibility under chapter 944.

Takes effect July 1, 2022.
