Amends sections 679.4061 and 679.4081 of the Florida Statutes regarding restrictions on assignment and security interests under the Uniform Commercial Code.

Exempts security interests in ownership interests of general partnerships, limited partnerships, and limited liability companies from provisions that otherwise restrict assignment or creation of security interests in accounts, chattel paper, payment intangibles, and promissory notes.

Exempts security interests in partnership and LLC ownership interests from provisions that restrict assignment or creation of security interests in promissory notes, health-care-insurance receivables, and certain general intangibles.

Effective January 1, 2023.
