Requires the Department of Law Enforcement to enter records into the Florida Crime Information Center (FCIC) database within 24 hours when a judge or magistrate orders submission of mental health records that prohibit firearm purchase.

Mandates deletion of a person's record from the FCIC database when they receive court-ordered relief from firearm disabilities based on mental health adjudications or commitments.

Creates a new misdemeanor of the first degree offense for attempting to violate a firearms risk protection order, in addition to the existing third-degree felony for actual violations.

Effective date of October 1, 2022.
