Amends section 767.14 of Florida Statutes to authorize housing authorities created under sections 421.04, 421.27, or 421.28 to adopt ordinances, rules, or policies regarding dangerous dogs, in addition to local governments.

Expands permitted regulations to address safety concerns caused by dog attacks on persons or domestic animals, including placing further restrictions or additional requirements on owners of dogs that have bitten or attacked.

Maintains the restriction that no regulations can be breed-specific and that state law provisions cannot be lessened by local additional regulations or requirements.

Removes the exemption that previously prevented these restrictions from applying to local ordinances adopted prior to October 1, 1990.

Effective date: October 1, 2022.
