Creates s. 90.2035, F.S. to authorize courts to take judicial notice of images, maps, locations, distances, calculations, or other information from web mapping services, global satellite imaging sites, or Internet mapping tools upon party request, provided the information includes a creation date.

Requires parties intending to offer such information in evidence to file notice of intent within a reasonable time or as defined by court order, including a copy of the information and the Internet address or pathway where it may be accessed.

Establishes a rebuttable presumption in civil cases that such information should be judicially noticed unless the court finds by greater weight of evidence that it does not fairly and accurately portray what it is being offered to prove.

Requires courts in criminal cases to instruct the jury that it may or may not accept the noticed facts as conclusive.

Effective July 1, 2022.
