Revises safe schools allocation funding for the 2022-2023 fiscal year to require funds designated for school resource officers be used exclusively for employing or contracting additional officers and distributed to all school districts based on proportionate student enrollment, regardless of Coach Aaron Feis Guardian Program participation.

Specifies that funds appropriated to the safe schools allocation in 2022-2023 for the school resource officer program shall be distributed among all school districts based on each district's proportionate share of state unweighted full-time equivalent student enrollment.

Requires each district school superintendent to remit unused funds from the 2021-2022 fiscal year that were appropriated for the Coach Aaron Feis Guardian Program to the Department of Education by August 1, 2022.

Authorizes the Department of Education, upon request of a county sheriff, to redistribute returned funds to school districts that have not previously participated in the Coach Aaron Feis Guardian Program for implementing school safety programs.

Takes effect July 1, 2022.
