Authorizes the Department of Corrections to supervise misdemeanor offenders when ordered by a circuit court, and removes the prohibition on private entities providing probation services to misdemeanor offenders.

Permits probationers and offenders in community control to report remotely to probation officers if approved by the probation officer, county authority, or Department of Corrections and not excluded by the court.

Requires the Department of Corrections to award probationers a 60-day reduction in supervision term for each educational advancement activity completed (high school equivalency, academic degree, or vocational certificate).

Requires the Department of Corrections to award probationers a 30-day reduction in supervision term for each 6-month period of continuous full-time employment (at least 30 hours per week) with documented verification.

Changes contract approval authority for private entities providing misdemeanor probation services from county court judges to the chief judge, effective July 1, 2022.
