Creates the Florida Hometown Hero Housing Program to assist frontline emergency workers, medical and health care personnel, and educators in purchasing a primary residence home.

Allows eligible borrowers to reduce down payment and closing costs by a maximum of 5 percent of the first mortgage loan or $25,000, whichever is less, with loans available at 0 percent interest rate.

Permits the Florida Housing Finance Corporation to make loans to full-time employees earning no more than 150 percent of state or local median income, whichever is greater, including law enforcement officers, firefighters, paramedics, educators, nurses, and other health care practitioners.

Excludes other-personnel-services employees and temporary employees from program eligibility.

Becomes effective July 1, 2022, for qualifying home purchases.
