Deletes definitions of "intellectual freedom and viewpoint diversity" and "shield" from Florida statutes governing Florida College System institutions and state universities.

Repeals the requirement that the State Board of Education and Board of Governors conduct annual assessments of intellectual freedom and viewpoint diversity at FCS institutions and state universities.

Removes the prohibition preventing FCS institutions and state universities from shielding students, faculty, or staff from free speech activities.

Eliminates authorization for students to record video or audio of class lectures and repeals the cause of action against persons who publish classroom recordings in violation of privacy rules.

Takes effect July 1, 2022.
