Exempts home addresses, telephone numbers, and dates of birth of the chair, commissioners, and hearing officers of the Public Employees Relations Commission from public records requirements.

Exempts the names, home addresses, telephone numbers, dates of birth, and places of employment of spouses and children of such PERC personnel, as well as names and locations of schools and day care facilities attended by their children.

Adds PERC personnel to the existing list of public employees whose personal identifying and location information receives public records exemption, alongside judges, state attorneys, public defenders, and other law enforcement and judicial officers.

Applies the exemption to information held by any agency custodian, but requires protected individuals or their employing agency to submit written, notarized requests to maintain exempt status.

Exemption is subject to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and will automatically repeal on October 2, 2024, unless reenacted by the Legislature; effective July 1, 2022.
