Exempts personal identifying information, annuity contract numbers, and names of family members, dependents, and beneficiaries of structured settlement payees from Florida public records requirements when contained in court files related to transfer proceedings under s. 626.99296

The exemption applies during the pendency of the transfer proceeding and for 6 months after the final court order approving or not approving the transferee's application

Justifies the exemption by citing that structured settlement recipients have been targets of criminal and fraudulent acts, including interception of transfer payments and theft of sensitive information such as bank account and Social Security numbers

Subject to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and automatically repeals on October 2, 2027, unless reenacted by the Legislature

Effective date is July 1, 2022
