Removes the scheduled repeal date of October 2, 2022 for exemptions in section 1004.055, Florida Statutes, making the public records and public meetings exemptions permanent.

Maintains confidentiality and exemption from public records disclosure for data and information from technology systems owned, contracted, or maintained by state universities and Florida College System institutions related to information technology security incidents and breaches.

Keeps exempt portions of public meetings discussing such security information off the record, with recordings and transcripts remaining confidential unless a court determines the meeting did not involve exempt information.

Continues to make exempt records and meeting materials available to the Auditor General, Cybercrime Office of the Department of Law Enforcement, Board of Governors or State Board of Education, and state or federal agencies for security purposes.

Effective date is October 1, 2022.
