Exempts from public records requirements the identification and location information of current and former military personnel, their spouses, and dependents, including home addresses, telephone numbers, dates of birth, personal communication device numbers, and names/locations of schools or day care facilities attended by spouses and dependents.

Defines "military personnel" as persons employed by the U.S. Department of Defense who are authorized to access "secret" or "top secret" information or who are servicemembers of a special operations force.

Requires the military personnel member to submit a written request for the exemption and a written statement that reasonable efforts have been made to protect the information through other publicly available means.

Applies retroactively to identification and location information held by an agency before, on, or after the effective date of the exemption.

Subject to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and automatically repeals on October 2, 2028, unless reenacted by the Legislature.
