Amends section 921.0024, Florida Statutes, to require that Criminal Punishment Code sentencing scoresheets include a notice detailing the constitutional and statutory provisions governing restoration of voting rights for persons convicted of felonies.

The notice must include the full text of Article VI, Section 4(a) and (b) of the Florida Constitution, which provides that voting rights are restored upon completion of all terms of sentence for most felonies, but requires separate restoration of civil rights for murder or felony sexual offenses.

The notice must also include the full text of Section 98.0751, Florida Statutes, which defines "completion of all terms of sentence" (including imprisonment, probation, restitution, fines, and fees) and lists the specific offenses qualifying as "felony sexual offense" and "murder."

Each defendant must receive a copy of the scoresheet containing the voting rights notice before the court imposes a sentence.

Effective date of July 1, 2023.
