Reduces temporary educational leadership certificates for military veterans from 5 years to 3 years of validity.

Authorizes school district employees working as education paraprofessionals to obtain temporary teaching certificates if they complete 60 college credits with a 2.5 GPA and a declared major or minor in education.

Requires individuals issued temporary certificates under the military service or paraprofessional pathways to be assigned a teacher mentor for a minimum of 2 school years.

Maintains 5-year validity for temporary certificates issued under the military service pathway and allows single extension of 2 years upon meeting specified conditions.

Takes effect July 1, 2023.
