Raises the compulsory school attendance age from 16 to 18 years old in Florida, requiring children to attend school regularly until reaching age 18.

Eliminates the requirement that a student's parent must sign a declaration of intent to terminate school enrollment, allowing students age 18 to file the declaration independently.

Removes the requirement that school districts notify parents upon receipt of a student's termination declaration.

Specifies that adult education high school equivalency programs meet compulsory attendance requirements as an acceptable educational option.

Takes effect July 1, 2025.
