Creates an exception to Florida Statutes sections 791.001 and 791.08 allowing the Town of Southwest Ranches to prohibit fireworks sales and use on all days except as specified.

Permits supervised public fireworks displays within the town if operated by a competent operator approved by the police and fire department chiefs, and the display will not be hazardous to property or endanger persons, farms, or farm animals.

Requires permit applications for fireworks displays to be submitted in writing to the Town of Southwest Ranches at least 15 days in advance, with permits being non-transferable.

Allows sales, possession, use, and distribution of fireworks for permitted displays only after privilege has been granted.

Preserves the right to import, purchase, sell, or use fireworks for agricultural purposes under Florida Statutes section 791.07.

Takes effect upon becoming law.
