• Defines "sex" in Florida education code as biological classification based on sex chromosomes, naturally occurring sex hormones, and internal and external genitalia present at birth, with exceptions for individuals with verifiable disorders of sex development.

• Prohibits public K-12 employees, contractors, and students from being required to use preferred pronouns or titles that do not correspond to a person's biological sex; prohibits employees from providing such pronouns to students; and prohibits students from being penalized for not providing preferred pronouns.

• Expands prohibition on classroom instruction on sexual orientation or gender identity from kindergarten through grade 3 to prekindergarten through grade 8, with limited exceptions; requires instruction in grades 9-12 to be age-appropriate and developmentally appropriate.

• Requires Department of Education approval of all instructional materials related to reproductive health, human sexuality, HIV/AIDS, and sexually transmitted diseases; requires materials to teach that biological reproduction is binary and unchangeable.

• Establishes expanded parental objection procedures for school library materials and classroom instructional materials, including material removal timelines, special magistrate review process for disputed decisions, and mandatory reporting of objected and removed materials to the state.
