Creates section 944.7071 of Florida Statutes to authorize the Department of Corrections to contract with Operation New Hope, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, for reentry services.

Authorized reentry services include counseling, housing and job placement information, money management assistance, and programs addressing substance abuse, mental health, and co-occurring conditions.

Contracts must be consistent with funding appropriated in the General Appropriations Act and comply with section 944.706 contracting requirements.

Takes effect July 1, 2023.
