Amends Florida's drug-enhancement zone laws to apply near schools and child care facilities only during actual hours of operation, rather than the previous fixed timeframe of 6 a.m. to 12 midnight

Limits enhanced penalties near places of worship to times when religious services or activities are actively being conducted

Maintains existing 1,000-foot drug-free zones around parks, community centers, publicly owned recreational facilities, and convenience businesses at all times

Violations involving Schedule I or II controlled substances remain first-degree felonies with a mandatory minimum 3-year prison sentence (except near child care facilities); other controlled substances carry second-degree felony penalties
