Creates s. 448.085, F.S., requiring employers that provide coverage for gender dysphoria treatment to also cover the full costs of treatment that reverses such treatment, regardless of the initial coverage rate.

Entitles employees who received gender dysphoria treatment through employer coverage to full coverage of reversal treatment costs if they later determine the initial treatment was inappropriate, even if no longer employed by that employer.

Prohibits employers from making coverage of subsequent treatment contingent upon whether the employee receives treatment in Florida.

Allows employees to file civil actions against employers or former employers for actual total costs of reversal treatment and any damages resulting from noncompliance with this section.

Effective date: July 1, 2023.
