• Creates Florida Statute Section 83.505 requiring landlords and authorized agents to provide written flood zone disclosure to tenants before lease commencement
• Disclosure must identify whether the dwelling unit is located within a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) flood zone
• For units in flood zones, landlords must include a list of all previous flood-related damages and the FEMA risk designation with its definition
• Landlords must notify current tenants in writing or by email if a dwelling unit's flood zone designation changes
• Takes effect July 1, 2023
