Creates section 559.913, F.S., establishing requirements for written repair estimates and invoices when customers request tire installation or replacement services from motor vehicle repair shops

Requires written estimates and invoices to include 12 specific items including shop registration number, vehicle information, proposed completion date, itemized labor and parts costs, and storage charges (with 3 working days free storage after completion notification)

Mandates repair shops promptly notify customers if unable to meet the proposed completion date and offer customers the option to cancel the transaction or accept a modified timeframe

Requires full refund within 48 hours if customer cancels; repair shop must expeditiously reassemble the vehicle to its original condition at no charge unless customer waives reassembly in writing or reassembly would make vehicle unsafe

Takes effect July 1, 2023
