Exempts investigative genetic genealogy information and materials from public records disclosure requirements under Florida law and the state constitution.

Defines investigative genetic genealogy as the application of DNA testing and genealogical research methods to develop leads in unsolved violent crimes and identify unidentified human remains or missing persons.

Permits law enforcement agencies to disclose such information to other government agencies for official duties and requires disclosure pursuant to court orders in criminal prosecutions, with recipients maintaining confidential status.

Excludes from the exemption the names and identifying information of perpetrators and witnesses who have personal knowledge of crimes under investigation.

Exemption applies retroactively to information held before, on, or after July 1, 2023, and automatically repeals on October 2, 2028, unless reenacted by the legislature.
