• Prohibits courts from ordering children, parents, or guardians to pay fees for supervision or care costs effective July 1, 2023.

• Declares all existing unpaid cost of supervision and care fee balances unenforceable and unenforceable, with court orders vacated by January 1, 2024, without requiring action from affected individuals.

• Voids all unsatisfied civil judgments based on unpaid supervision or care fees and rescinds all warrants issued solely for nonpayment of such fees by January 1, 2024.

• Makes children and parents/guardians whose driver licenses were suspended solely for nonpayment of these fees immediately eligible for reinstatement.

• Repeals section 985.514 regarding responsibility for cost of care and fees; these provisions expire June 30, 2024.
