• Governor must designate temporary housing and provide temporary support for persons allied with the United States, including interpreters and translators who worked with any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces in military operations or combat.

• Support must include resettlement assistance and legal assistance with processing immigration applications for the allied person and their immediate family.

• "Immediate family" is defined as the person's parents, spouse, and children.

• Bill is cited as the "Save Our Allies Act."

• Takes effect July 1, 2023.
