Creates section 415.1104 of Florida Statutes to establish confidentiality protections for elder and vulnerable adult abuse fatality review teams

Information that is already exempt or confidential under state law retains that protected status when held by a review team; additionally, victim identity and identity of persons responsible for victim welfare become confidential and exempt from public records requirements

Portions of review team meetings during which exempt, confidential, or sensitive personal identifying information is discussed are exempt from public meetings requirements, while remaining portions stay open for public oversight

Exemptions are subject to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and automatically repeal on October 2, 2028, unless the Legislature reenacts the law

Act takes effect contingent upon HB 1567 or similar legislation being adopted in the same legislative session and becoming law
