Removes the scheduled repeal date of October 2, 2023 for the exemption in s. 943.687, F.S. that allows certain meetings of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Public Safety Commission to be closed to the public when exempt or confidential information is discussed.

Removes the scheduled repeal date of October 2, 2023 for the exemption in s. 1006.12, F.S. that protects from public disclosure any information identifying individuals appointed as safe-school officers by law enforcement agencies, school districts, or charter schools.

Requires district school boards to assign a school resource officer or school safety officer to charter schools if the district denies charter schools access to other safe-school officer options through its policies or actions.

Limits charter school cost-sharing for assigned school resource or safety officers to the safe school allocation funds provided under s. 1011.62(12), with any excess costs retained by the school district.
