Adds a new definition of "central bank digital currency" to Florida's Uniform Commercial Code as a digital currency, medium of exchange, or monetary unit issued by the U.S. Federal Reserve, federal agencies, foreign governments, central banks, or foreign reserve systems that is made directly available to or processed/validated directly by such entities.

Revises the definition of "money" under the Uniform Commercial Code to explicitly exclude central bank digital currency, defining money as a medium of exchange currently authorized or adopted by a domestic or foreign government.

Renumbers subsections (10) through (46) of section 671.201 to become subsections (11) through (47) to accommodate the new central bank digital currency definition as subsection (10).

Updates cross-references in sections 328.0015, 559.9232, 563.022, and 668.50 to reflect the renumbering of definitions in section 671.201.

Takes effect July 1, 2023.
