Florida Atlantic University (FAU) men's basketball team achieved a 35-4 record in the 2023 season, the best in team history, and recorded a 20-game winning streak that was the longest of any NCAA Division I team that season.

FAU entered the AP Top 25 College Basketball Poll for the first time in school history, reaching 19th in the nation, and began the NCAA tournament as a No. 9 seed, the team's first tournament appearance in 21 years.

FAU defeated Memphis 66-65, Fairleigh Dickinson 78-70, No. 4 seed University of Tennessee 62-55, and No. 3 seed Kansas State University 79-76 to reach the Final Four.

FAU lost to San Diego State University 72-71 in the Final Four on a last-second buzzer beater at NRG Stadium in Houston, becoming one of only nine teams to reach the Final Four as a No. 9 seed or below.
