SB 334 – Learning with Dignity Act (Florida, 2023)

• Requires Florida school districts to provide free menstrual hygiene products (tampons and sanitary napkins) in all public middle schools and high schools, including charter schools
• Products must be available in each school nurse's office, other health services facilities, and in at least 25% of restrooms within each school, including at least one wheelchair-accessible restroom
• Schools must notify students of the availability and locations of menstrual hygiene products
• School districts are encouraged to partner with nonprofit organizations, nongovernmental organizations, and businesses to help supply and maintain the required products
• Effective date of July 1, 2023
