Amends Florida Statutes section 509.096 to modify enforcement of human trafficking awareness training requirements for public lodging establishments

Limits correction periods to first-time violations only; public lodging establishments that fail to comply with training and policy requirements receive a 90-day correction period only for their initial violation

Prohibits the Division of Hotels and Restaurants from providing a correction period for second or subsequent violations of human trafficking awareness training requirements

Requires the division to impose a $2,000 per day administrative fine for second or subsequent violations, with fines remitted to the direct support organization established under section 16.618

Takes effect July 1, 2023
