Creates the Small Business Certification Program within the Office of Supplier Diversity of the Department of Management Services.

Program certifies small businesses that meet the definition in s. 288.703.

Requires political subdivisions to accept businesses certified under this program as small businesses for purposes of ss. 288.702-288.706, regardless of any additional certification process the subdivision may have established.

Authorizes the Department of Management Services to adopt rules to implement the program.

Effective date: July 1, 2023.
